How to materialize the dream? Here is the beginning of its creation process.

It is often around 4am that Essangui receives the idea, the model, the shape, the image or just the silhouette of this new creative baby that wants to come to life. With scissors and paper at the foot of the bed, she tries to give shape to what she saw in her dream.

Shape, volume, how to reproduce it with leather? What details can be highlighted using your expertise as a saddler and leatherworker?

Once the paper sketch is made, the designer transposes it onto the leather to assess how the jewel lives, takes shape and moves. Cutting, gluing, assembly, hammering, and hand sewing according to the models, all necessary steps before the final stage of finishing the edge with dye and hot threading.

Once the first prototype is finalized, necessary adjustments and modifications can take place.
