Kundelly jewelry is made of leather, designed by hand, respecting the artisanal know-how of saddlery and leather goods. The jewelry findings are gold-plated or gold-filled. The richness and diversity of the leather, as well as the inclusions of other noble materials such as fine stones or traditional African fabric, make each piece unique.
The designer puts her skills and past experience as a leather goods saddler at Maison Hermès at the service of the Kundelly brand to design unique leather jewelry with high-quality finishes. The edge finishes are identical to those of a luxury bag.
All jewelry is designed in small series in the brand's workshop.
During a spiritual retreat in Mexico in 2019, Essangui discovered that she was a receiver. “I remember that I could receive messages from my ritual partner, through my body! It was a crazy and revealing experience. Today, I use my body, my “healing” hands, to create jewelry that will enhance the person who wears it.”
