Essangui Mbaitjongue is a leather craftswoman.
After an international career in business development and marketing, Essangui decided in 2018 to leave her comfortable life as an executive to realize her young woman's dream: to discover herself through her passion for leather.
Having already graduated with a master's degree in international economics from La Sorbonne and an MBA from Manchester University, she returned to school. From her deep desire to use her hands to create, experiment, and innovate, she enrolled in the CAP maroquinerie.
With her CAP in her pocket, she joined La Maison Hermès. For a year, she perfected her know-how as a saddler and leather goods maker, and made the iconic Kelly bag. This experience rich in learning allowed her to immerse herself in the quality standards of one of the most prestigious houses in the world.
It is with this know-how and his desire to create BEAUTIFUL things that Essangui created the Kundelly brand in 2022.
Nicknamed “The Healer of the Soul” by her friends, Essangui handcrafts unique, lightweight leather jewelry that highlights the beauty of the women who wear it.
